The following press release was distributed to media today:

LONDON, January 18th, 2025 – Just before the inauguration of 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump takes place in Washington D.C., attorney Robert Amsterdam, Founding Partner of Amsterdam & Partners LLP, denounces the latest actions of Iraqi judge Faiq Zidan, who is a foreign judge notable for issuing an arrest warrant against the U.S. President.

Information has been released suggesting that Mr. Amsterdam’s client, prominent Iraqi Investor Sara Saleem, believes that on Monday, January 20th in Baghdad, the Iraqi justice system will be irreparably damaged by an anticipated corrupt ruling in a bogus retrial against the Hanna brothers which is anticipated to occur.

In 2014, for 43 days, Ms. Saleem was brutally kidnapped in Basra and tortured by Iran-related militias connected to the then-government of Iraq.

Ms.Saleem has previously stated that the Hanna brothers were rightfully criminally convicted and sentenced to a three-year prison term on July 26, 2023, for their fraudulent activities, involving the Trade Bank of Iraq.

«Yet after the Hanna brothers paid for their release from jail after serving only 15 months of a 36-month sentence, it now appears that, with the assistance of a number of judges, including the head of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq, Faiq Zidan, and the head of the Rusafah Court of Appeal in Baghdad, Emad Khudair al-Jabri, a court will somehow reverse course and declare the Hanna brothers innocent in a manner that is completely unprecedented in Iraqi judicial history,» Saleem added.

Robert Amsterdam will take up with the U.S. government the sanctioning of all those involved in this conspiracy against this heroic Iraqi American.

It is believed that the Hanna brothers, in addition to enlisting the services of Iraqi judges, have additionally retained Bashar Matti Warda, the current Archbishop of the Erbil Chaldean Church, to lobby on their behalf, and assist in these corrupt activities.

The Archbishop’s actions are part of a multi-dimensional harassment campaign, her attorney Mr. Amsterdam suggests, one which Ms. Saleem has been victimized by, since her release from captivity in 2014, actions which emblemize Iran’s continued control over neighboring Iraq, including the besmirchment of rule of law.

Robert Amsterdam went on to state, «The judgments we anticipate seeing on Monday, to be issued out of Judge Satar Warwar’s court, should come as no surprise. Faiq Zidan is the judge who serves as Iran’s proxy in Iraq and, in fact, issued an arrest warrant against President Trump after the assassination of Qasem Soleimani.»

“I applaud Ms. Saleem’s determination to bring each and every party that has facilitated this wrongdoing to justice, either internationally or in Iraq when circumstances change,” he concluded.
