Jake Amsterdam

Jake Amsterdam specializes in US public policy disputes, international human rights issues and anti-corruption cases. Amsterdam has contributed to the firm’s pro bono practice on freedom of speech issues and victims of political persecution abroad.

Amsterdam has extensive experience managing complex investigations, guiding clients from discovery to data collection, and presenting findings through comprehensive reports. His work often entails political advocacy and advising clients on public relations strategies.

Amsterdam co-authored the firm’s publication Empire of Deceit, a study on corruption in the US charter education sector, as part of his work for the Republic of Turkey on an international fraud investigation.

Amsterdam holds a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a law degree from Bond University. He is a mediator certified by Cornell University.
